Actually, there's that. Also, if bob's right, and the branching factor is 4.0: 4.0 ^ 18 = 68,719,476,736 nodes to search. That's a lot, but at 200,000,000 nodes per second that breaks down to 343 seconds. Not out of line with expectations. dave
