An excellent and entertaining post-mortem analysis. I always pull for the engines where I have seen their innards. But some other engines for whatever reason are compelling to me. Bringer, Pharaon, Ferret and some others I find very interesting. I can't fall in love with AnMon for some reason, despite its spectacular play. Maybe because I don't remember the author posting here and so he seems a blank face to me. I wish that they had these tournaments once a month, but then all the programmers would die from exhaustion and then where would we be? ;-)
