I should mention that it is possible to get DJGPP binaries to work with
Winboard.  I believe Miguel Ballicora managed it with some versions of Gaviota.
But it is often problematic, especially in the interface with Winboard, to get
it working right.  So if DJGPP is your only choice, it might be possible to get
a smoothly working compile.  There is a crafty email list that is helpful for
questions specifically about crafty (and building crafty in particular).
