Hi, Well playing on WCN (worldchessnetwork.com) I will get a message that they detect me running software that could be used to cheat, to close all software that I'm running. I was playing a game on ICC and WCN at the same time the first time i got this message, two differant games. So i closed ICC. The next day i was playing on WCN and got the same " your cheating message". This time i had CCC open and was reading between moves on WCN. This time i aske WCN what was going on? If i have anything running that has to do with chess well on WCN there software detects that I'm cheating. I do not have this problem on ICC why is that? By the way i don't cheat :) JP On February 01, 2002 at 18:39:31, Otello Gnaramori wrote: >I recently subscribed to Fritz7 playchess server. >After few games in the main hall some red messages was appearing telling : > >Player 'goldeneye' cheated in game: Kaspirow >(1904) - goldeneye > >then after few moments : >Player 'fanatico' cheated in game: Kerpe - fanatico > >I wonder how they can detect the cheating from the players... and how any caught >cheater is punished. > >w.b.r. >Otello
