Yours, charlie According to Bernard Cafferty (1973, Spassky's 100 Best games, P. 104) the position was taken from Spassky's game against Bronstein in 1960 during the 27th USSR championship (held at Leningrad). Spassky played a King's Gambit and brilliantly won in only 23 moves. Apparently the finish of the game was used in the "Kronsteen- McAdams game, but the white pawns at Q4 and QB5 were omitted. Unfortunately, I could not find the game in my Fritz6 database, and I'm too lazy to type it in. I hope somebody else will be kind enough to post the actual moves. Regards Chris Janeke
