Hi I'm not really answering your question, but instead ask another (somewhat related) question instead. :) It seems to me that there are no plans whatsoever to make (x|win)board UCI-compatible? Otherwise it looks like UCI will also be one more thing only available in the Wintel world.. Yeah I know I could start to write one. But if I would, it surely wouldn't be X11-based. ;) Sargon
