I can recommend the excellent book 'The Method in Chess' by Dorfman. Though he stresses the static features he doesn't do that on the expense of the dynamical options. That and Yermolinskis 'The Road to Chess Improvement' will last you at least to the FM level. But are really useful to intermediate players too. MvH Dan Andersson
