I think he should have clinged to his material advantage here and not start a
swap of queen aganinst a very active rook and bishop. How about Qd2 and a mate
threath after Qc3+?

I have a terrible record playing "OTB games" against computer programs, but my
few wins and draws nearly all start with 1. d4 Nf6 2. c4. Good strategy!
