Look forward to seeing your results. Great tournament! I especially like it that each is using their own book. I would use the updated Fritz henceforth because you're testing an evolving product. Why not test it in an evolving manner? I believe this is appropriate because anyone with Fritz7 will be updating it. If the update weren't readily available, or cost extra, then I would agree with Sune, and say "No, don't change it". Since it is readily available, I think you should also change versions. Dave
