No idea on a real number (I checked this a while back but didn't store it
in 'long-term memory'.  :)  )  But the number is fairly small.  Simple test
is to run with a size of N and so long as your hash hit percentage is 99%
that size is fine.  Add anything that is costly to compute.  That is the
point...
