Ed, I think CSS is not dead wrong here concerning the German market, and a CCC
poll will not prove otherwise - CCC members are by no means typical customers
of computer chess products (but maybe your typical customers ?).
Chessmaster has always been a mass market product available in department stores
- though the last time I looked I saw Corel Chess (Karstadt dept. store).
Fritz has succeded in entering the mass market as well, you can see it in lots
of book stores in Germany.
But who knows, maybe you are right however and CSS is trying a selffulfilling
prophecy :-))

As you think the list is horse-hockey (as Bob would call it), I conclude you are
perfectly happy with your Rebel sales ?
I think I'm not the only one here interested in how many units you sell
a year, would you please tell us ! (unless you fear there are tax officers
amongst the CCC members ;-) )
