JAFM This is not a real zugzwang position. To my knowledge a zugzwang position is bad for the side to move. Here it doesn't matter who is to move first. If black is to move he simply moves his bishop along the long diagonal and nothing changes. Still some interesting things happened when I gave Fritz (no TB) this position. With white to move Fritz thinks white is just a little bit better and it gives the move R1e2, which is strange because there is only 1 rook that can go to e2. With black to move first it says white is clearly better (5.75). This is in multi (3) move mode. When I make a move for black it has the correct score again. Also when I let Fritz calculate with the "move now"-button it gives a normal score. Hans.
