But for todays chess programs this is not the case, they can beat there fellow brothers and rip the heart of most GMs at the same time. the point is IMO deep blue will need to go through some major modification to face the top softwares of today. if not then i would be asking for too much from deep blue to top the SSDF or any similar contest. just an opinion. pavs
