Hi Inmann,

KBNK is a lot of fun to program.  It really helps if you can win the
ending yourself but not absolutely necessary.  It will take quite a
bit of study if you not an advanced player.  I understand there are
many experts who cannot win this ending, but I don't know.

Steven layed out most of the important principles quite nicely in
his post.   I suggest that you will have great fun programming
this ending and may even want to try it on your own using the
principles Steven wrote about.   You will learn much about the
idosyncracies of search and evaluation and how they work together.
