Then I noticed that I typed the file name wrong for the book text file. When I typed it correctly, the book built without a hitch. I used the RJF60.PGN that comes with winboard to test the build. I assume that an incorrect filename is not the problem you are having. How large is the PGN file you are trying to build from? Can I download the PGN file you tried somewhere (assuming it is not prohibitively large)? - Dan
