As you have guessed I live in Uruguay :) I own an Athlon 1.2Ghz, and the big trouble I have is that in Uruguay there isn't a decent Power Supply Unit. They are all standard (cheap) things, which means they don't supply the CPU with appropriate power. This means that if I use my computer for a long time with 100% CPU usage, my machine hangs or shuts down :( Solution: I make my CPU run at 1.55v instead of the 'usual' 1.7v as specified by AMD. This makes a small difference in Amperes which is enough for my computer to run in a stable manner. THEN CAME FRITZ7!! I can't run Fritz7 (the engine) for more than 3 minutes, and then my computer hangs or shuts down. I don't know what the hell is happening, but it looks as if Fritz7 uses my CPU in a more extensive fashion than all other programs. It draws more current to the CPU!! I'm really baffled. The only thing I haven't tried is changing my Power Supply Unit, as here in Uruguay it's impossible!! So, now I'll go back to use my Fritz7 for 10 seconds :)
