Also don't forget _heat_.  The pentium-pro machine that ran Crafty in Jakarta
didn't have a CPU fan, just a heat sink.  P6/200's ran _very_ hot and this
box would hang with Crafty running.  I took the cover off the case, pointed a
big fan at the CPU and no more hangs.

Heat will crash the machine, and it will eventually damage the CPU as well.
