After all, Isichess is in good company here; Nimzo-99 likes f4 too:

Analysis by Nimzo '99:

...
1.Kg1 Rd8 2.Qg4 Qe4 3.Qg3 Bd5 4.Bg5
  ² (0.34) Depth: 9/23 00:00:12 4032kN
1.f4
  ² (0.35) Depth: 9/23 00:00:15 5154kN
1.f4 Rd8 2.a5
  ² (0.35) Depth: 9/23 00:00:18 6285kN
1.f4 Rd8 2.Kg1 Qd6 3.Nc6 Bxc6 4.Rxc6 Qd5 5.R1c4 b5 6.axb5
  ² (0.31) Depth: 10/25 00:01:13 27965kN
1.f4 Raa8 2.Rc7 Bd8 3.Rd7 Qe4 4.Kg1 Rc8 5.Re1 b5
  ² (0.30) Depth: 11/26 00:03:21 77560kN

This really seems a matter of fine tuning.
What do the human chess experts say ?
Is it clear, that Rc7 is best here ?
