Subject: Asking a big favor to run DOS chess programs--making a bootup disc

Hello out there, I want to make a bootup disc for my old computer that runs
windows 98 so that I can but into pure DOS.  I've tried a number of times but
can't get it to work, checked manuals, etc.  I want to have a mouse driver and
CD ROM control.  Can anybody suggest the simplest autoexec.bat and config sys
that I might need.  My problems in the past have included not recognizing the
boot disc, invalid drive specification, still going into windows, etc.
