Hi Gerd,
I don't think 32. f4 deserves question marks.

Some plans say after 32. f4:
1. One long term plan by white will be to use the h-file. A rook by white on h3
will be the goal, the queen will adjust.
2. The weakness at g2 will be protected by Rc1-c2 (while maintaining presure at
c-file), so that the queen will be freed.
3. Back rank will be taken care of by a bishop at g1.
4. Then strive to transfer Rc2 to g3.

I have not seen the complete game yet.
