I can only tell You what I know from what I have learned from My Fritz.I have
Fritz 6 and 7.Junior 6 and 7 also. They all seem to work the same. After You have
played a Game with these Programs ,the Games are saved atomatically in the
Auto-sav Database.I have ran the LEARN FROM DATABASE occasionally once I have
accumalated a group of new Games that I have played against other Programs. It
changes the weights of how the moves are choosen and seems to help or get
stronger anyway.I access this function as follows:edit/opening book/learn from
database. Then a Window will come up and You will to double-click on the AUTOSAVE
and a second Window(LEARN FROM DATABASE) will appear and You need to click ok
only and allow it to finish the process.I think by doing this function that it
makes the Program play stronger. My reasoning is ,It is only learning form games
played against other Programs or strong opponents.Games that I felt that didn't
meet My parameters were deleated from the database. If you want to deleat some of
the Games in Your Auto-sav Database that You know were against Programs or
strong Players then do the following :file/open/database.Then when Your Database
is displayed ,You can HIGHLIGHT the Game You want to deleat by clicking on it
and it will turn blue.Once It is highlighted go to edit/deleat(which will put a
line thru the Game. Then once the Game is lined out and ready to be deleated go
to tools/cleanup database and the Game will be deleated.>>>>Mike
