No The idea of Rf7 and Nc6 is to threat mate and after the knight is captured it is perpetual check so there is always threat. I suspect that the problem is simply that Rebel does not use the KQN vs KR tablebases because it can save it from the problem of not seeing the perpetual check. Uri
