I am sure you are correct, I just cannot see it using Fritz 7b, which thinks Black is worse after either move, but worse by a greater margin after ...Qc2: 1...Qc2 [1...Nxd5 2.Rc1 Qb8 3.Ne4 N7f6 4.Rxc8 Rxc8 5.Bg4 += ] 2.Rb1 Qxd1 3.Bxd1 ± That's why I asked what Black's plan is. Perhaps it's something other than to exchange queens, but Fritz 7b sees those lines as worse still.
