Subject: Variation Board a Joke

WHat good is a variation board if you cant work with it from blacks perspective?
Can someone also tell me why my engine kicks in when there are still moves in
its tree? Is there a way to stop this or is this something good? It would be so
nice  to get some feedback to often no one respons to posted messages.
