I'll try to add a little bit of documentation on my web page.

My program should handle ep squares correctly. The only subtelty is that it does
not indicate an ep square when no en passant capture can be actually done. For
instance, it does not say that e3 is an ep square when the first move is 1.e4.
The big advantage of this behaviour is that it gives identical epd strings for
positions that should be considered identical, such as after 1. d4 d5 2. Nf3 and
after 1.Nf3 d5 2. d4.
