On the other hand it is a bit smaller and does not have pieces recognition (eg. you can not directly setup a position on the wooden board because it does not make difference between a knight and a bishop for instance - you must first set it up in the program). For the quality point, I think the autoboard is much nicer than Tasc Smartboard but this is my opinion and I haven't seen new Tascboards (they probably have changed thier pieces set). Smartboard can use drivers to work with several programs whereas autoboard requires a build-in support (present in genius, rebel, virtual chess...). If you intend to use it intensively just go for Smartboard else several autoboards can do the job.
