In a different way, the UCI protocol does it. The good thing is that
it is very well speficied but UCI still forces the engine to start from a
"new position" each move. In spirit, there is no difference, but the programmer
can be better prepared because it is better documented. Despite it is
documented, I still do not like it (from the programmer's point of view).
