I have done this.  I play at least two games a week at 40/2 (mostly against
amateur programs like Crafty or Comet).

Then how do you know what 1500 players will do if you aren't one?  Clearly you
would have no idea if you were not in that category.

Look at Uri's position down below.  A 1000 patzer would take the pawn in a
heartbeat and computers are without a clue.
