As far as I'm concerned this is fine, but I don't know who would
actually be making the rules. But nothing has happened yet except
that I have access to free space.

Probably I would first attempt to get the ICCA to sanction this, but
I'm very skeptical because I believe they would require a substantial
fee for organizing this and this would require a rich sponsor. If
we could get a rich sponsor then of course I would prefer to see the
World Championship get moving instead.

If I ended up organizing this I would keep it as warm and friendly
as possible, along the lines of the Dutch championship which I
enjoyed very much. With the space we already have access to,
not very much money will need to be involved and perhaps no
prize money (but also little or no entry fee.) But so far it's
just an idea, maybe ill concieved, maybe not.

I really would hope to attract Europeans (or any non-USA folks)
who would want to come. I don't really want a tournament of
just USA people but would like to mix everyone together. It's
much more FUN this way and that is the only reason I would do
it anyway, for the fun. But I'm not sure Europeans would be willing
to go to the effort and expense for this kind of thing. I would
hate to go to a lot of trouble and have no one show up from the
other side of the ocean!

I've had so much fun at every tournament I've been at that I
hate to see them die, and they seem to be gradually dying.
The U.S. ones seem to be already dead so maybe a new one
could be born?
