Provide a menu selection, to easily display some or all other user >settable parameters (for any CM9000 or custom user personality) There will be a small section of the status bar that will show the status of the "Mentor" engine (i.e. "Inactive", "Commenting", "Analyzing", etc.). There will also be a "Mentor Settings" dialog which will allow the user (among other things) to view/set the hash table size for the Mentor engine. Since there are so many settings in Chessmaster (and, really, any chess program with a large feature set) that having one dialog that shows all settings (personality settings, time controls, mentor settings, etc.) would be rather cumbersome. This is why there are different dialogs for different settings.... Unless I understood your "Point B" wrong above.... >2. The manual is being completely rewritten (or revised) this time around, and hopefully will be much better than in the past. >4. There has been a "two-click method" implemented, in which you can go to the "Game Details" dialog (CTRL+G) and a new "Edit Personality" button has been added to this dialog so that you can quickly edit either or both of the personalities in the game. >If you need a CM9000 beta tester (as I was with CM8000), even if not just for >rating calculations of personalities, please let me know! Since there is not going to a full engine test like there was with the last version, we will not be using external beta testers. But, many thanks for asking. jm
