This is of course an overbroad stereotypical overgeneralization,
but I generally find Go players having much more courtesy than
chessplayers! I think two of the main reasons for this are the
fact that scoring (usually) has to happen by agreement between
both players regarding the status of groups, and the fact that
the handicap system makes games challenging even for stronger
players.

On many Go servers, you can set your own rating, takeback
moves without opponent approval (I think) and the game isn't
done until both players have agreed on the score and status
of the groups. Don't try this on a chess server folks!
