I was strike by a notation bug. This was the promotion that in the pgn/Winboard should be noted with b8=Q and not as the fide standard b8Q. When I fixed this I also took a look on some other differences. In the FIDE standard when an enpassant move is made where should the check symbol be added. exd6 e.p.+ or exd6+ e.p. If you would speak the move the first sample looks best but on paper the second sample looks better. This isn't a problem in the PGN-standard because the e.p. abbreviation should not be added. I took a look on Fide's site but wasn't any wiser. Odd Gunnar
