It does not even matter if the program search for 2 seconds or 10 hours. The
simple fact that the program has do to some sort of look-ahead shows that there
is something a 1500 ELO human can do that a 2700 rated computer cannot.
The conclusion is that computers do not have to understand chess in order to
defeat humans.
