Besides myself does anyone think Century will win? I am not the strongest Chess player in the World but my impression of century 4 on my 1 gig machine is that it plays about 2650 Chess. I believe it is stronger then both fritz and tiger vs humans, also century is much less known then fritz, it is unlikely that many of the top players has any real experience playing it. I perdect 2 and half to 1 and a half in favor of Century4. I wonder if a Win for Century will convince the die hard skeptics that Computers are now Grandmasters, or will a program have to beat the world champion in a match to even be considered 2500? With all the recent accomplishments against humans being ignored , i bet this will be a requirment.
