Subject: How do you get FRITZ to practice an ENDGAME properly???

Does anyone know how I can get Fritz to play a decent bit of endgame practice?
For example, I want to practice my endgame as a lone black king against a white
King + Pawn. I want to practice how to draw, or recognize when it is a loss.

The problem is that when I setup a position with these peices, Fritz will always
make a stupid move that allows me to take the pawn.

I have Fritz 6 and the tablebases are on the CD.

I haven't installed the tablebases to my hard drive (to save space) but I get
this problem even when I launch Fritz from the CD. I've tried TOOLS > ENGINE
and ticking the USE TABLEBASES box but that still doesn't stop Fritz playing
like a muppet.

I have the program set as follows: FILE > NEW > SPARRING and have it set on
"point out wins" and "really hard".

I'm not sure what else I should be doing. I thought Fritz should be able to
access the tablebases on the CD but it clearly isn't.

Anyone able to help?
