I saw Ken Thompson at the World Trade Center championship in 1995 and at the
Deep blue match in Manhattan.  Seems to me he was not too happy with the deep
blue team because he would not respond when the DP leader tried to introduce
him to the audience.  This was after all the controversy erupted.  Perhaps he
thought the behaviour unethical.  Anyway I hope he's come up with some kind of
deep blue busting machine.
