I can assure you that there is no problem with the setting of the tournament.
We knew that TheKing312X is very strong. In our tests, mainly 40'/40,
ponder=off, the program has played 339 games against all top programs with the
result of 186-153 or 55 %. And what must be said too is that Johan de Koning's
program seems to become even stronger at longer time controls. But our
tournament T2002 is not yet over and if you look at the following list (basis =
2400 ELO)

Program Score % Av.Op. Elo + -
Draws
1 TheKing312X : 42.0/ 68 61.8 2386 2469 73 61
41.2 %
2 Fritz7002 : 38.0/ 68 55.9 2392 2433 79 53
47.1 %
3 Junior7 : 34.5/ 68 50.7 2399 2404 86 57
39.7 %
4 ChessTiger14 : 31.0/ 68 45.6 2406 2375 57 81
41.2 %
5 Hiarcs732 : 30.5/ 68 44.9 2406 2370 63 80
33.8 %
6 Shredder6 : 28.0/ 68 41.2 2411 2349 60 76
41.2 %

the performance of TheKing321X lies between the margin of error. And eventually,
TheKing is so far the only program that has not yet suffered from producing some
losses in a row. We think that this will sometime happen.
