Where do you get your information???? From the Rebel web site: "The match will be a confrontation between the best Dutch player and the smartest Dutch program. Loek van Wely is champion of the Netherlands, European team champion and top twenty player. He humiliated Fritz SSS in Rotterdam 2000." You have to walk before you can run. Most of the Chess World is still trying to prove that Chess programs on PC's are at GM strength. I believe this has been established already. But a match vs a top 20 player is a big step beyond an ordinary GM rated say 2500-2550. A 3-1 win vs this guy would be a very big step.
