For instance, Rob Hyatt always gives a new version number to his new >versions of Crafty, whereas Chessbase calls all their Fritz upgrades "Fritz7". It depends, but we doesn't ignore the upgrade. With Fritz 7 we doesn't test "7.0.0.2" and "7.0.0.6", we test Fritz 7 with the latest upgrade. We had played a few games with the first version. With Crafty we test a version number and then wait a year or so, before we test a new version. We have tested Gandalf 5 but Steen found some bugs in it so we will start to test Gandalf 5.1. Tony
