Dunno why. > >And, you're welcome. :) I do not use the built in firewall as it is _to_ restrictive. Almost insanely restrictive. I use port 5000 on Windows 2000 without any problem at all. I am one of the fortunate few who never had to deal with Windows ME at all, and trust me I like that fact. Kevin
