Subject: Monarch on a fast Athlon XP2000+ or 2.2 GHz P4?

I am thinking of getting a new PC for testing and developing Monarch my chess
engine.  Naturally I would like as fast a machine as I can possibly afford.
This is where you may be able to help.  If you already own a fast Athlon or P4
I'd appreciate it if you could you run the benchmark test in Monarch and send me
/ post the results?  You can get Monarch from:

www.stevemaughan.com/downloads/monarch.zip

Unzip the filre and start the program by double clicking on the exe.  At the
prompt type 'bench'.  The screen will then scroll rapidly for a while (on my 750
MHz P3 it takes 128 secs).  Could you send my the time required to complete the
benchmark and the hardware.
