The King will run under WinBoard only if you make CM8000 calculate the OPK
number on the basis of a number of variable system parameters.
There is on the web a small freeware tool that also calculates the OPK number
accordining to the same algorithms as CM8000 but I can not find that
(unofficial) site anymore.

Hiarcs 7.32 in Winboard ?
If that's the ChessBase version in .eng, please explain how to configure it in
WinBoard. That would be a major breakthrough.
But probably it's the DOS version you had in mind ?
