I want to upgrade my pc specificaly for other puropse but I don't want to miss
the chess too.
I am being more curious about the hardware support for a max.playing
strength chess programs like CB's products.I have reviewed all the possible
posted message about the hardware MHZ,ram ,etc support for chess programme.
what would you suggest if i would like to upgrade my 1.7Ghz P4 machine
with new daul all around 3GHz at 1Ghz of RD or SDram ?-------what should I use
for specificaly the chess programms like deep fritz deep junior?acc. to the
posts made one should buy a daul processor in max speed for better prefomance
for deepfritz and deep junior .but I don't think it can increase the prefomance
at all Because it's not solving the problem any quicker either,the last point
for fritz to open up a quick and legal move is possible with P4 1.7 and AMD
1900+xp 512mb is enough to solve the position faster .
I wonder is upgrading the hardware accordingly produces a frequent
speed result then the previous slow MHZ processors I mentioned .but do deep
fritz deep junior be able to get most out of the new hardware that I will be
upgrading ?That's all it is making a quite nonsense to me ???thanks in advance
