When Hsu mentioned the possibility of his commercialization of the chess processors, he seemed to be thinking of only one per PC. But first he must get the rights to the chess processors from IBM, which he is currently negotiating to do. He thinks he should be able to, since IBM has no plans to market Deep Blue in any fashion. Of course the product would have no mention of Deep Blue as a name, not even "Baby Blue", although I suggested that to him. He would have to come up with a new name for the program. He did not say that even if he got the rights, that he would then definitely market it as a PC product, although he said he was seriously considering it. kp
