That's one way to do it, it's a piece of cake to write a communication
protocol for the engine either by memory or by normal PGN or like the
ChessMachine system using a few interrupts. Then Hsu has nothing to do
with writing a GUI and other IO since it is already available in the
commercial program(s) in question.
