I doubt that you can find AAA batteries of 1500mAh storage.
The one I have can hold 500mAh each, so that gives the pair a 1000mAh capacity.
Have you really found 1500mAh AAA batteries???

I do not have a good dedicated charger. The charger I have sends the right
current to charge NiMH, but has no automatic stop.
So I had to add a timer to the charger. I charge the 2 AAA batteries in 12
hours. Charging this way allows for a small charge current, so it is not really
a problem to overcharge a little bit.
With higher charge currents, like the one you need to charge them in 1-2 hours,
you need to be extremely careful to stop charging when the battery is full, or
else you kill the battery very quickly.
So you definitely need a high quality, specialized charger.
