Neophyte:
3-8 pieces.

Play the whole game without showing them anything but the bare pgn move.

If there is some trouble, have a video of Bruce Pandolfini [or of someone
playing Bruce Pandolfini (Of course, Kingsly would be nice...)] come out and say
"Here -- let me help you!" and then smash the chess pieces off the board with
the back of his hand.
