That is one factor that will surely effect the curves.  For instance, if I have
a trillion games played in pool 'A' and ten games played in pool 'B' then the
number of points that transfer will be much higher.  Of course, there can be a
real effect where a certain type of player does better at particular time
controls against particular opponents.  In other words, the pools are not
homogenious and the contests are not homogenius.

Just think of how excellent your ELO will be at game in one second!  I should
think at least 4-5 thousand.
