Actually, I believe to know what Odesta might refer to.  None other than good
ole Chess 7.0 (Apple II, Commodore) by David Slate. I used to have it on a
Commodore 64, on a 5.25" disk, and I was impressed by it at that time (must have
been 1983...). "Odesta" were the publisher, I believe, just as Hayden were the
publisher of Sargon II. Those were the days...
