Good/Day everyone: Question:1-How do one go about building a book/books bin,
since the old ones dont work? Question:2-Are there any up/to/date T/B and pgn
files for the Mac. Is it that hard for you programmers to port crafty for the
Mac? And the reason i that question is that you guys give me the impression that
you can do anything when it comes to otimizing and programmiing for the Pcs, but
when the time come to port crafty for the Mac its another story. and that story
is compliers, and i have heard that story for some time now, so it seems kind of
hard to belive that you programmers in quite some time have not been able to
optimize or up/grade crafty for the Mac as it is done ffor Pcs. And it has been
proven that the Mac is an ideal machine to play chess at its current speed. I
dont feel the Mac is any better than a pc or visa/versa Mac happen to fit my
personality/ the Amiga that i had own and played chess on it that machine fitted
my personality at that time. So for me, the Mac doesnt require a
deep/learning/curve and the chess programs dont require a doop/learning/curve.
Still that doesnt make the Mac the Best Machine. Its the best Machine for me,
and you get what you pay for, no matter how fast it is. If the O/S is not
reliable, i dont need a fast machine, unless the O/S is reliable. The machine
and O/S depend on the program that it was written for. And i belive that it is
the same for chess programs.
